Possessing a solid educational foundation combined with practical experience, I am committed to utilizing my skills and knowledge to address complex societal challenges and contribute to the development of effective public policies.I work as a Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) is an opportunity for young, dynamic individuals to contribute to enhancing skill development and promoting economic development. MGNF is a Certificate Programme in Public Policy and Management offered by IIMs. It has been designed at the initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India (GoI), and implemented in collaboration with State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs). The two-year Fellowship seeks to combine classroom sessions (Academic Module) at host IIMs with an intensive field immersion at the district level (District Immersion) to create credible plans, identify barriers to raising employment and economic output, and promote livelihoods in rural areas. I have been involved in activating and assisting meetings of the District Skill Committee (DSC) in the district, providing the members with information about the roles and functions of the committee. I visited various skilling centers (ITI, Polytechnic, PMKVY, etc) to collect and analyze data to understand the skill ecosystem of the district. I also conducted surveys to understand the demand and formulate a skill gap study. I am working on the formulation of the growth plan of the district through my interactions with various government officials and beneficiaries and my understanding of the overall district profile. As a highly adaptable and detail-oriented individual, I thrive in fast-paced and challenging environments. I excel at synthesizing vast amounts of information, identifying key issues, and proposing innovative solutions. My strong interpersonal skills enable me to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, foster consensus, and navigate complex political landscapes. I am comfortable engaging in robust debates and am adept at presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. Looking ahead, I am eager to apply my passion for public policy to a professional role where I can make a tangible impact on society.
