Shaima Al Hamed is a dynamic leader and visionary with almost two decades of experience in the ICT and media-technologies sectors. While serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at BNET - Bahrain Network, she led the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with its vision, mission, and values.She also worked as the Executive Director/CEO of Bahrain Internet eXchange (BIX) for nearly 8 years, and a Board Member before that. Prior to her role at BIX, Shaima held the position of Director of Broadcasting and Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Information Affairs.With a proven track record, Shaima excels in implementing innovative business transformation, restructuring, and growth strategies. Her leadership has consistently resulted in heightened customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. She is deeply passionate about harnessing the power of digital transformation and seamless technologies to create value for the organization, its stakeholders, and society at large.As a Harvard Business School Alumna, Shaima successfully completed the HBS Senior Executive Leadership Flagship Program. Additionally, she holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy Analysis and Evaluation from Strathclyde Business School.
