Agudath Israel of America supports and unites the Orthodox Jewish community in the United States. Our activities include advocacy, adult religious education, marshalling resources in response to public crises, and a wide range of social service programs including summer camps, youth groups, and job training.Through our office of government affairs and regional chapters throughout the United States, we: Promote religious and civil rights. Support religiously-affiliated schools and their student communities. Take a stand on contemporary social, moral, and family issues. Advance Jewish interests around the world.Generational relevance is essential to the longevity of any organization, so we recently established the Lefkowitz Leadership Initiative to ensure that the needs and opinions of younger generations are prioritized. It is my great privilege to lead this new initiative and serve as a conduit between different generations.I was drawn to Agudath Israel of America because I am passionate about Judaism and helping people nurture their relationship with the Divine. Organizing conventions and other events that directly impact parenting, personal growth, and Judaism is particularly fulfilling for me.
