Assisted the fund supervision team in proactively monitoring activity in the Irish fund’s sector ensuring that funds were being managed in line with the regulatory requirements and in the best interests of shareholders. During this time I was directly responsible for monitoring daily redemption activity and liquidity management tools within the entire Irish funds sector. This proactive oversight identified any potential liquidity mismanagement issues, ensuring a streamlined regulatory approach and swift interventions to maintain sector integrity. I also supported the inspections team including work on the ESMA issued Common Supervisory Action (CSA) on UCITS liquidity risk management and the CSA on the supervision of costs and fees of Irish UCITS.

I was appointed as CEO of the TU Dublin SMF for the 2018/19 academic year. As part of this role, I worked to develop the yearly strategy which resulted in the SMF acquiring over 15 sponsors and recruiting over 100 students in the university. I organised and oversaw the management of 5 separate investment funds that were put forward by the SMF to compete in Goodbody Stockbrokers Annual SMF Competition and assisted in raising over €5k for Pieta House, our chosen charity.
