•Responsible for program oversight, budget, strategic plan, student learning outcomes and assessment, and grant development for Veterans’ Resource Center•Serve as School Certifying Official to certify student course loads and VA GI Educational Benefits for over 550 veteran students•Act as liaison with Veterans Affairs and community agencies•Complete student educational plans, advise students, and provide on-going support•Serve as Co-Chair of the Campus Council on Threat Assessment charged with creation of emergency responses protocols and policies; serve as member of Campus Crisis Intervention Team

•Provided supervision of Student Union building, while troubleshooting and managing needs of students, staff, and guests•Responsible for programming budgets, schedules, calendaring of conference and space allocation•Advised student government and student leadership, including clubs and organization leaders, student ambassadors, and associated students, serving over 5,000 students•Advised the sexual assault and domestic violence awareness programs on campus•Supervised new student programs, including Peer2Peer Mentor Program, Orientations; and Student Life programs including Intramural Sports, Service Learning, and Programming Board •Responsible for coordination, contracts, and budgeting for Commencement and Dean’s Honors Program

•Coordinated and facilitated two crisis intervention trainings per year that meet state guidelines for peer-counselor certification of both sexual assault and domestic violence counselors, as cited under CA Evidence Code 1035-1037•Supervised 80 volunteer counselor-advocates who provide counseling services over the 24-hour LA Rape and Battering Hotline to survivors of sexual and domestic violence throughout LA County•Coordinated and facilitated prevention and intervention services to students and staff at local colleges and universities•Provided technical assistance and support to Department of Justice Grant on sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking education and direct services to consortium of 11 colleges, including the LA Community College District, USC, and Mount St Mary’s College•Participated as voting member of the LA Trafficking Task Force, working to create city-wide response and policy to address victims of human trafficking•Conducted research and focus groups on best practices in response to domestic violence in the State of California, specifically looking at hospital, law enforcement, and advocacy first responders, and compiled tool-kit, disseminated 500 copies to agencies both governmental and non-profit throughout the state, to aid in developing new programs that will follow the model response•Coordinated meetings and training of the LA City Sexual Assault Response Team; comprised of advocates, law enforcement, District Attorneys, Victim Witness Assistance, and Forensic Medical Examiners
