Recruited by the CEO to help bring Eli to life. Met him in Beijing and knew I needed to work for him. First hire outside of manufacturing team. Developed brand positioning/marketing, distribution, operations, and market entry. Passionate and bullish on low-speed vehicles and mobility. Rooting for this company from the sidelines now. I sent a cold email and pitched the CEO on how I could bring the amazing products that I used in China to the US. Met CEO at a hotel lobby in Palo Alto. Flew back to Shanghai to get started :) Brought Xiaoyi (YI Technology / Kami Camera) to US and EU. Sold over 3.5M+ units in the first year. Lived the 996 lifestyle and never looked back. I still think daily about the lessons I learned from the CEO and Founders of this company, their determination, precision, and ability to execute. Our motto was "Make customers scream" (direct translation from Chinese; scream.. in an excitement way). I learned to be extremely disciplined and product driven from this role. Relentless.
