Major functions & duties are: In-charge of technical unit of a project under implementation in PMO Canals for successful completion within time schedule and approved budget Review progress reports covering main areas of enabling works design and ensured accuracy of the information Oversee the progress of works according to the design parameters, specifications and construction drawings Provide technical support to the Project Director for decision making in connection with issues relating to design and construction Provide technical guidance to consultants and subordinate engineering staff in planning, designing, project preparation and approvals / sanctions, construction, implementation of improvement works to attain efficiency and success in the management and operation of the Project(s) Active inter-action with ADB donor, contractors, consultants and other stake holders on monthly review and progress meetings of the project(s) or any such area requiring immediate attention Timely completion of the jobs assigned by the higher office.

Executive Engineer (BS-18), Discharge Division, Drainage & Flood Zone, Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan. Major functions of Discharge Division are: To work as Technical and Water Resource Manager To act as Financial and Human Resource Manager To get measure the actual and accurate discharge of a streams of River, Canal, and Natural Nullah (Drain) throughout the Punjab Province and to record the data accordingly for better Water Resource Management. To get observe the rainfall data at various Rain Gauge Stations and to maintain its record. Communication of data to Hydrology Directorate for its annual publication. Rating of Current Meters under use of Discharge Division at various discharge sites after a period of every six-months (or earlier if required) to ensure the accuracy and its standard calibration. Calibration of Current Meters of other Departments like WAPDA, IWMI, ISPR and Sindh Irrigation Department at Meter Rating Center established at Thokar Niaz Baig Lahore which is one and the only Meter Rating Center present throughout Pakistan and maintained since before Pakistan’s existence. To assist the Flood Warning Center for observing and communicating the discharges of different important sites of Rivers and Drains (Nullahs).

Deputy Director Monitoring (BS-18), in Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for Flood Emergency Reconstruction Project (FERP) in Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan, selected on merit through competition and posted by transfer. Due to Flood 2014 damages, foreign grant / loan under Flood Emergency Reconstruction Project (FERP) has been categorized into two main projects:1. Flood Emergency Reconstruction & Resilience Project (FERRP) funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB).2. Disaster & Climate Resilience Improvement Project (DCRIP) funded by World Bank (WB).Major project duties performed are: Preparation of Procurement Plans for FERRP & DCRIP under ADB and WB guidelines respectively. Planning, Monitoring and Reporting the progress of activities for about 30 sub-projects under FERRP & DCRIP Preparing bidding and contract documents under WB & ADB guidelines. Technical and Financial Evaluations of Shortlisted Consultants for Hiring of Project Management & Implementation Consultants (PMIC) for DCRIP under WB guidelines. Preparation of Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) for Hiring of Project Management & Implementation Consultants (PMIC) for DCRIP under WB guidelines. Hiring of Disaster and Risk Management (DRM) Individual Consultants under FERRP. Hiring of Individual Consultants (Social, Environmental and Financial Experts) under DCRIP. Creating and Updating Procurement activities at WB website in Systematic Tracking and Exchanging in Procurement (STEP) for DCRIP.

Assistant Director Monitoring (ADM) (BS-17), by transfer in Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU) at Bahawalpur & Multan Irrigation Zones Government of the Punjab. Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU) is foreign funded project started in March 2006 initially funded by World Bank but later on funded by Punjab Government under Annual development Program (ADP) in 2007 for five years project period ended in March 2011 and then extended for further five years up to March 2016. Main project tasks performed are: Discharge Observation & Preparation of Discharge Tables for Channels of Bahawalpur and Multan Irrigation Zones. Checking & Calibration of Gauges for Channels of Bahawalpur and Multan Irrigation Zones. Monitoring Canal Operations and Evaluation of Hydraulics of Channels of Bahawalpur and Multan Irrigation Zones. Checking and Monitoring Canal Closure & De-Silting Works. Real-time (Online) Monitoring of Tenders Opening, Tenders Evaluation and Comparative Statement of Contractor’s Bids. Surprise Checking of Outlets & Preparing Outlets Checking Reports. Updating and Resolving Complaints at PMIU Web Site. Surprise Checking for Field Work of Monitoring Assistants of PMIU.

Assistant Design Engineer (Planning) (BS-17), in Planning & Review Zone, Irrigation & Power Department, Government of the Punjab Lahore-Pakistan, in BS-17 and also remained attached with Punjab Power Management Unit (PPMU) which is foreign funded project by Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Installing Small Hydro Power Plants . Major features of the project assignment were: Fulltime attachment with Punjab Power Management Unit (PPMU) at Lahore under control of Chief Engineer (Power), Irrigation & Power Department, Government of the Punjab. Preparation of Feasibility Reports, PC-I &, PC-II for Management, Construction Supervision of Hydel Power Stations in Punjab for Renewable Energy Development Sector Investment Programme funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB). Planning & Scheduling including Master Plans for Five Small Hydropower Projects in Punjab-Pakistan. Expression Of Interest (EOI) evaluation, Request For Proposals (RFP) & Terms Of References (TORs) preparation for Small Hydropower Projects in Punjab-Pakistan. Evaluation Criteria for Consultant’s Selection for Small Hydro Power Projects in Punjab-Pakistan financed by Asian Development Bank.

Sub Divisional Officer (BS-17), in Development Sub-Division-II of Development Division, Bahawalnagar-Pakistan, Irrigation & Power Department, Government of the Punjab in BS-17. Development Circles were established in Irrigation & Power Department, Government of the Punjab in last quarter of 2003 for carrying out Mega Irrigation System Rehabilitation Projects in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Few of Main duties performed includes: Preparation of Feasibility Reports, PC-I, Master Plan and Technical Estimates for Mega Irrigation System Rehabilitation Projects (ISRP). Projects Planning, Execution and Monitoring of Mega Irrigation Projects under Development Division Bahawalnagar. Preparation of Construction Schedule and Earthwork X-Sections Automation for Mega Irrigation System Rehabilitation Projects like Rehabilitation of Sadiqia Canal and Hakra Branch Canal. Constructional Supervision of Hydraulic Structures as well as Rehabilitation of Main and Branch Canals such as Revamping & Construction of New Head and Cross Regulators, Pile Bridges, Diversion Channels, Extensive Earthwork and Stone Pitching etc on Hakra Branch Canal of Bahawalnagar-Pakistan. At site construction supervision of Irrigation Infrastructure according to the design parameters, specifications and construction drawings. Completion of Revamping for Head Gulab Ali at RD 89+750 of Hakra Branch Canals in Short Canal Closure of 2006.

Junior Engineer, in BARQAAB Consultants (Pvt.) Limited, Lahore-Pakistan and served in NEAC-KKH Consultants (Pvt.) Limited, Lahore-Pakistan as employee of BARQAAB. NEAC-KKH Consultants (Pvt.) Limited was a joint venture of NESPAK, ACE & BARQAAB Consultants. Core jobs performed comprise of: Pavement Evaluation and Design for Project of “Up Gradation and Relocation of Karakorum Highway (KKH) for Basha Diamer Dam Project (BDDP)”. Coarse as well as Detailed Visual Condition Survey for the Project Road from Havelian to Sazin (Basha Dam Site). Site Supervision for Computerized Road Testing of Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) done by National Highway Authority (NHA) for the Project Road Length to determine its Existing Pavement Capacity. Site Supervision of Seismic Refraction Survey (SRS) conducted by Central Material Testing Laboratory (CMTL) WAPDA to determine Layered Thicknesses especially depth of Bed Rock at the Specified Locations along Project Road. Analysis and Compilation of Field Data of Detailed Visual Condition Survey, Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Seismic Refraction Survey (SRS) under guidance of Dr. Muhammad Waseem Mirza (Pavement Specialist and Foreign Professor).
