I am a highly experienced supply chain management professional with a proven track record of success in the industry. I have worked in a variety of roles, including category manager and analyst, as well as supply chain executive. My work experience has given me a deep understanding of inventory planning, distribution, warehousing, and logistic coordination.In my most recent role as a Deputy Category Manager at Ideas by Gulahmed, I am responsible for creating and implementing an optimal category strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, and cost prices to expand revenue. I ensured the best assortment and competitive prices in the market, and managed inventory, providing insights to the marketing and production departments to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply. I also monitored the warehouse inventory system for new and old articles and made sure audit SOPS were followed. I oversaw daily GRN in the system and distribution for timely executions, coordinated logistic movement, and worked with 3PL to reduce cost. I also coordinated with whole sale buyers, proposed discounts, arranged inventory, reconciled data with audit and ERP departments, and was part of software implementation. Additionally, I created analytics reports with Power BI.Prior to my role at Ideas by Gulahmed, I worked as a category analyst, where I analyzed sales to plan distribution for 98 stores nationwide. I coordinated with the retail team to plan new collection launches, monitored and reported on important changes in sales forecasts, and looked after all activities/processes from production to stores. I compiled reports for higher management, planned discount proposals for campaigns, made quarterly store visits, updated product master databases and product specification sheets for every product, and carried out demand forecasts, ensuring product knowledge was provided to the sales team on a timely basis.
