About Shakib Mahmud Ayon

I am Shakib Mahmud, a Research Engineer at AIMS Lab (Advance Intelligent Multidisciplinary 
Systems Lab), United International University (UIU), Dhaka. I completed my B.Sc in Biomedical 
Engineering (BME) from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET).My current project is titled- "Prediction of Chronic Kidney Disease from behavioral factors". The project is under review for the research fund by UIU. I am also temporarily working on a project titled-"Automated Prescription Audit System & Artificial Intelligence" where my primary goal is to build a dataset supporting current literature that will be used to train the model of the prescription audit system.My goal is to incorporate the current wave of artificial intelligence (AI) development to improve healthcare facilities all over the world starting with my own country with a multidisciplinary approach. (SDG 3 & 17)Apart from academics, I often actively volunteer and engage in several extra-curricular activities.
