Within the Neurodegenerative Research Team, I have worked on various studies in Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. I have developed competency in conducting various cognitive rating assessments including CDR, ADAS-Cog and RBANS on patients ranging from MCI to moderate dementia and have trained several colleagues in the delivery of these scales. Notably I have led in the delivery of a commercial observational study (CNS-101, Cumulus) which looks at the use of ambulatory electroencephalogram headsets in tracking cognitive changes in those with dementia in comparison to healthy controls. My roles in this included screening, training and follow up of patients over the course of the year and subsequent data monitoring, troubleshooting, and provision of advice to participants.
