Hired as Relationship and Marketing Director, my role included oversight and creation of communications and relationship building opportunities with residents. Soon after beginning with Rarity Bay, I was promoted to VP of Operations and Marketing. As an employee for the Declarant of Rarity Bay, I have assisted in strategic planning for the community as well as the Country Club. This has included long-range planning of facilities, amenities, revenue goals, event planning, and more. In this role, I am responsible for more than 40 employees including restaurant, golf, and accounting staff along with a team of managers. I am responsible for conducting interviews, hiring, employee evaluations, discipline, dismissals, and performance enhancement. An important function of this role has been as a liaison between the Declarant and the residents of the community. Problem solving and communication skills have been important in those efforts. All communications are approved or created directly by me. We have partnered with a brand manager who assisted us in a complete rebranding of the community including design of a new logo and creation of new marketing collateral. Part of this role also included oversight of development of a new website, all content management, and social media platforms. Other marketing efforts and collateral have been created and utilized to assist in the real estate efforts of the Declarant. I was also responsible for all web content and for creating a social media presence. I also cultivated and managed relationships with key clients, vendors, and community partners. In addition, I created and edited major communication for constituents and promotional targets and assisted in design and proofed/approved production and printing drafts of promotional materials.
