As President, I was involved heavily in decision making and organisation of club events, chaired meetings and provided direction to achieve the club’s collective goals. My leadership ability enabled me to handle challenges front on, using concise communication and teamwork to guide the club through difficult situations. I was able to demonstrate great judgement with important matters, and handled pressure very well using the support of my committee to great effect, ensuring the club was in a better situation than it was before I became president. My passion and loyalty for the club drove the success that we enjoyed in 2014.
