Hello and welcome to my new-and-hopefully-improved LinkedIn profile…I’ll be your host.It’s hard to explain how I got here (well, not HERE here), but I’ll do my best. Over the past several years, I helped my parents navigate a devastating illness, loss, grieving, selling a home, grieving, moving into a new-but-temporary place, and – wait for it – more grieving.And laughing through the tears. Celebrating a life well lived, well loved, and well done. (I wasn’t sure how to end that, so I went with the pun.) A legacy I’m proud to carry with me forevermore.After all I’ve been through, I’m thinking of contacting author Robert Fulghum (I checked – according to Wikipedia – he’s still living) to propose a sequel to his “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.” Working title: “All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Settling My Parent’s Estate.”In any case, I’m in search of a role that leverages my professional skills and interests. (Hobbies and personal interests are next!) (Hold on! I’m going to flip the script and start with what makes me me – besides my DeoxyriboNucleic Acid...)I love:Traveling – and am even known for creating food maps of the best eats for each locale. Reviving childhood hobbies like roller skating, drawing, and sewing and making clothes – I even made a fabulous bridesmaid’s dress!Giving makeup makeovers – so far, for a party, a wedding, and a wedding singer.
