Peel Halton Workforce Development Group (PHWDG) is 1 of 24 local boards in Ontario leading labour force development. PHWDG gathers intelligence about the supply and demand side of the local labour market by working with employers to identify current and emerging workforce needs. Each year PHWDG leads a consultation process to highlight trends in the workforce for Peel & Halton and delivers a community planning document. Working in collaboration with stakeholders in the community PHWDG leads four deliverables to impact our workforce challenges.

The Champions Council's mandate is to design, launch, and champion an initiative to drive measurable action on this important issue.

Peel Newcomer Strategy Group (PNSG) is a community collaborative guided by a multi-stakeholder steering committee and co-chaired by United Way of Peel Region and the Region of Peel. The PNSG Collaborative is comprised of key stakeholders including all tiers of government, business, education, health, community development, settlement and newcomer serving organizations.

The National Accreditation Program (NAP) was established to recognize supply chain-related educational offerings that meet the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council's national standard. The NAP standard – developed in partnership with the Canadian Standards Association and with significant input from supply chain stakeholders – reflects industry's needs and educators' best practices.

Workforce Planing Ontario is the umbrella network connecting the 24 workforce planning organizations in Ontario.
