Worked in the development team of Archon, an ETL software that helps todecommission legacy applications. Following are the core features in it.1. Connects to various data sources like RDBMS , flat files, Sharepoint, Fileshare, etc.2. Analyses the metadata3. Extracts and transforms the data from it according to the user'srequirements4. Loads it to an archival storage like InfoArchive or Archon Data StoreMy contributions in developing Archon ETL:* Started by fixing bugs in ETL. This gave me a good understanding ofwhat the company does and how this product is used.* Developed a reanalysis logic that enables Archon to extract newly added data from the source system and transform it into Parquet file format for the ingestion process.* Improved the performance in Datasource and Workspace creation area in Archon by efficient APIusage.
