Shalom Weil is an accomplished educational leader. As the founding head of Pelech Ort High School for boys in Jerusalem since 2015, he has led the school to win the national educational prize for excellence in 2022, showcasing his ability to drive success and provide an exemplary model for educational systems. Shalom's leadership extends beyond his own school as he facilitates and trains young principals and heads of school through Avney Rosha's principal's national training course. With an MBA from Hebrew University and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School as well as several years of religious studies in Yeshivat Maale Gilboa, his academic qualifications further strengthen his expertise in educational leadership. Shalom's transformative impact is evident from his previous role as principal of ORT Spanian High School, where he successfully guided the school to be recognized as one of Israel's top ten educational institutions for under resourced students. Shalom's commitment to making a difference is reflected in his volunteer work, providing mentorship, consultation, and guidance to various organizations. He works with impressive achievements, unwavering passion for education, and extensive leadership experience. Shalom is married to Yotvat Weil-Fireaizen, and they raise four children in Jerusalem.
