My name is Shalom Kasim. I have a background in English and Literary Studies, a qualification that has provided me with a strong foundation in language and literature, which I have translated into my professional endeavours as a writer and editor. I have about 4 years of extensive experience in the publishing industry, a journey that has been both fulfilling and enlightening. My career began as editor-in-chief at the Federal University, Wukari, where I led a team of editors to set editorial policies, assess submissions, and oversee the whole publication process of the maiden issue of the students' magazine, Insights.Over the years, I have worked in different editorial, writing, and administrative capacities at Eboquills, Biochar Magazine, Erato Magazine, Pictura Journal, The Selkie (CIC), and my current role as Managing Editor at Mud Season Review, a Vermont-based international literary journal.I am eager to bring my abilities to organisations and individuals that share my passion for storytelling. If you will like to engage my services, make a referral, or say hi, please send me a DM.Thank you.#K
