I have been employed by Access2mobility, Inc since August of 2004. I have almost 20 years of experience in the DME industry with a special focus on Complex Rehab (CRT). I am responsible for checking insurance eligibility and claim status, as well as educating patients on their particular insurance company's policies with regards to Custom Wheelchairs and Powerchairs. I also have experience in billing for SleepSafe Beds, Special Needs Carseats, Gait Trainers, Standing Frames, Overhead Track Systems, Modular Ramps, and Patient Lifting Systems. I work closely with doctors and therapists to obtain proper documentation as required by the client's insurance company in order to request prior authorization. Once the equipment has been approved and ordered, I generate the delivery paperwork and the claim. I am proficient in coding and billing (HCPCS and ICD-10), as well as obtaining pre-certification from Medicare, Blue Cross, Medicaid, various Medicare Advantage Plans, and Medicaid Advantage Plans. I also work closely with TWC (previously known as DARS), DSSW, DADS, CLASS, Star Plus Waiver, and many other state programs. In the past, I have worked with the VA and with many different Worker's Compensation programs. I have experience with a multitude of billing software (Brightree, bflow, QS1, Mestimed, PC-ACE Pro 32), Quickbooks, Goldmine, Microsoft Word, and OmniForm.If my claims are denied, I am prompt with my follow-ups and appeals or re-bills. I follow up with clients in a timely manner in order to insure that they are satisfied with their equipment and do not need further adjustments. I also do collections and A/R. In addition to the above, I am also the Compliance Officer for Access2mobility, Inc.
