“Striving & thriving” is my personal mantra. For me, being better than who I was yesterday can promote personal & professional growth. Finding the balance between self improvement and self confidence is key.Currently, I am a Human Resources Management major who is actively seeking internships. A solid foundation is vital for a successful career. Work place culture, training, compensation and benefits can make or break a job. A harsh reality is that many employees leave their jobs due to management, pay gaps or lack of tools and resources. This is what inspired me to study Human Resources as it encompasses various metrics that equate to overall job satisfaction and performance. In my professional experiences, I am tasked with training new employees. It is essential to equip new hires with the necessary tools and knowledge. This boosts performance and creates a stronger workforce. At Kean University, I am learning to master Excel, leading team projects, enhancing professional communication skills and challenging myself in electives such as corporate finance and accounting. As a lifelong learner, I intend to obtain a MBA and JD. I appreciate the idea of being a jack of all trades.
