I am an undergraduate student at the University of Houston with a major in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in retail and sales as well as in Python, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and MATLAB. I hope to expand on my reservoir of skills to one day achieve my goal of being involved in the field of robotics, as well as renewable energy.While I currently lack lots of meaningful experience, I aim to bolster my skills wherever and whenever I can, such as taking summer courses to learn a variety of different types of coding languages, such as Python, to working in retail where I am constantly interacting with customers in the effort to get them to purchase phones. Working as a Sales Representative in California made me more familiar with how customers think and act, improving my social and leadership skills.I am currently looking for an internship or co-op within the mechanical engineering field with a preference for roles that would allow me to work with development and design.
