About Dr. M. Shamim QureshiDr. Shamim Qureshi has graduated from Dow medical college (1986), and got his FCPS in surgery (1991) and FRCS from Royal college of surgeons England (1993). He was Trained in General Surgery at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical college and got his specialization in colorectal diseases from Saint Mark Hospital of Intestinal And Colorectal Diseases London in 1996.He has acquired laparoscopic training in cusheri laparoscopic center in Randi and got multiple national and international trainings from Sloan Kettering hospital New York and Cleveland clinic Florida in Hepatobiliary and Colorectal cancer Surgeries. He has special interest in oncologic surgery especially colorectal cancer, peritoneal surface malignancies and HIPEC. He has established a unit for peritoneal surface malignancies in public sector hospital in Pakistan, a unique center. Dr. Shamim has got special interest in teaching and training of junior and senior surgical graduates and is running a colorectal and endocrine week for last 14 and 7 years respectively. He has multiple national and international surgical publications.At present he is working in Hussain Lakhani hospital as Professor of surgery.He is currently open to work and is looking for new opportunities going along with his extensive experience.
