Handled multiple manufacturing projects at a single time and ensured that the projects weredelivered at their respective deadlines without any delay by creating Gantt Charts to regularlytrack the project status.● Gained exposure to different manufacturing processes & also carried out DFM analysis for machining projects.● Raised Non-Conformance reports and applied Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate anddevelop an understanding of the occurring defects. Toolings such as Fishbone diagram, 5Sanalysis, and 5 why analysis assisted in implementing corrective actions.● Established a solid vendor base in the Bengaluru region by onboarding a various range of manufacturing partners with ISO 9001 and AS9100 accreditations who were specializing in different manufacturing domains. This increased the company's horizon and thus helped in taking up new manufacturing projects in different domains and thus as a result it contributed to the revenue of the company.

Working as a Graduate Engineer in the product development group for BEL has given me exposure to both design and simulation areas. It has also helped me develop my interpersonal and project management skills. Tasks performed in this role are : 1) Design and development of a rugged electronic equipment from a mechanical point of view, such that it meets the environmental tests specifications as required by the defence sector. (Software used- SOLIDWORKS)2) Thermal Analysis - *Software used- SOLIDWORKS simulation * Hand calculations required for thermal analysis of electronic components i.e finding the value of case temperature etc. * Fan selection calculation for forced convection . * Free air ratio calculation while considering perforated sheets 3) Modal Analysis- Software used - SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION & ANSYS 4) Creating 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD 5) Project documentation using SAP (PLM MODULE)6) Constant interaction with manufacturing partners to understand manufacturing challenges involved and thus improvising the design in the future versions.

This internship gave me an insight and first-hand experience of industrial scenariooutside the institute curriculum. In addition, the exposure gave me the practical knowledge into the overall functioning of the organization, human behavior in industry and also helped us co- relate theoretical concepts of classroom and practical approach to industrial production.
