As a Manager of Communications, Marketing, and Talent at Valence College Prep, I lead the efforts to promote the mission, vision, and values of our organization, which serves students of color in NYC. I am responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and engage our staff, families, and partners, as well as managing our internal and external communications, social media, and website.I have over seven years of experience in youth development and education. My areas of expertise are within leadership, operations, management, & external partnerships. I have a BBA in Finance and a minor in Law & Policy from Baruch College, where I honed my analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. I am passionate about creating opportunities and pathways for underserved and underrepresented communities, especially with the lens of growing the whole child. I am also skilled in communication, interpersonal, and organization skills, which enable me to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
