Shamuna is a social entrepreneur, youth advocate and trainer; and a community development expert. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Samba Ventures. Samba is a social enterprise that works to promote financial inclusion through the provision of accessible, affordable and flexible consumer credit finance for low-income individual and poor people. These low-income individuals who include market women, traders and artisans are often ignored by mainstream financial institutions. Shamuna, therefore, started Samba Ventures to support these individuals with consumer credit to buy household appliances, startup tools and machinery and even rent their apartments and shops. Samba Ventures currently employs about 20 young Ghanaians and directly impact the lives of over 5000 people. Shamuna's vision is to be the banker to the poor and create lasting social transformation in Ghana through microcredit finance. Shamuna also invests profits from his social enterprise into Seed of Hope Foundation; an NGO which has provided training and mentoring to about 500 young girls and 200 windows in Entrepreneurial skills, soft skills, digital skills and Mentoring. In addition, Shamuna works as a youth mentor and trainer. He regularly trains young people from slums and other underprivileged communities in soft skills such as goal setting, time management, leadership and communication. Till date, Shamuna has impacted about 60 young people from underprivileged communities to build better lives for themselves and positively impact their communities. Shamuna is an alumnus of the University for Development Studies the Hass Business School, UC Barkley. Shamuna is 29 years old and married Aisha. The couple stay in Kumasi- Ghana
