District Academic Coordinator
CurrentAs a District Academic Coordinator, my primary role is to ensure the successful implementation of Literacy and Numeracy programs and uphold academic quality standards. I actively support Demo Support Teams in designing academic materials at the district level, including teacher meeting materials and handouts, while assisting block academic coordinators in their effective use.In collaboration with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team, I contribute to the design and implementation of assessment and observation tools, essential for monitoring and maintaining program quality. I work closely with District Resource Groups (DRGs) to enhance their understanding of educational initiatives and pedagogical methods.My commitment to professional development is unwavering, as I lead Training of Trainers (ToT) programs for district resource group members and create plans for continuous improvement within the district and block resource groups. Identifying the capacity-building needs of District Academic Leadership, Academic Resource Persons (ARPs), teachers, and block academic coordinators, I ensure tailored programs are conducted to enhance their skills.I engage in outcome-oriented discussions with District Education Officers, District Elementary Education Officers, Block Education Officers and Block Resource Coordinators. I have a deep understanding of program priorities, allowing me to delegate responsibilities effectively across team members and seek support from state and central team members when needed.My commitment to knowledge sharing and improvement is exemplified through the documentation of best practices, case studies, and success stories from the field, which I disseminate to stakeholders.
