- Lead Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on a small development team dedicated to Aerospace Fluid Mass Flowmeters and Fuel Level Sensors, reporting to the Director of Engineering- Responsibilities included leading frequent technical interchange meetings and design reviews with suppliers and customers including Boeing, RTX, Lockheed Martin, GE, Honeywell, and Rolls-Royce- Design tasks required expertise in rotating mechanisms such as turbines, impellers, and rotor assemblies- Led the development and performance of qual, cert, and design assurance testing for multiple fluid sensor product lines; tests include thermal, vibration, and fluid environments, per MIL-STD-810 and RTCA/DO-160 guidelines- Led the design, development, and qualification of Fuel System Gauging Elements used on the Predator B Drone (General Atomics, SkyGuardian)- Led the mechanical development and certification of the Engine Oil Level Gauging System for the HondaJet HA series business jet, including the design of multiple sensors and signal control systems- Led the design and development of a water mass volume gauging probe system for the Lockheed Martin Co. - Served as Project Lead for the Missile Safety and Arming (S&A) Device; role requires strong, multi-disciplinary technical expertise in device’s design and function- Role required frequent travel (incl. - Led the development of production hardware and manufacturing tooling for the Missile Guidance Section (Creo Parametric, PDM)- Participated in several OCONUS deployments to perform site inspection and provide field engineering support for emplacement and testing of Missile Battalions and Fire Units- Performed rapid prototyping of design concepts using in-house tool room and 3D printing- Provided mechanical engineering support for missile systems and assemblies, such as performing drawing maintenance (Creo Parametric, PDM) and investigation/disposition of marginal hardware- Performed Jurisdiction Classification Assessment (JCA) of hardware for international export based on USML ITAR and EAR guidelines
