Shana Deane brings diverse experience and skills to her sharing of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), with a specialty in integrating body-mind practices. A graduate of the BayNVC North America Leadership Training Program, since 2005 she has completed over 800 hours of NVC training. A Restorative Circle Facilitator, Mediator, NLP & Hypnotherapy Practitioner, Shana is also an End-of-Life Doula Companion to the Dying, and has been leading the women's circle at Romemu synagogue in NYC since 2011. She is a Certification Candidate at the International Center for Nonviolent Communication, holds a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Practices, and bachelor degrees in International Business & Marketing from New York University, and in Human Movement Studies from Hunter College in NYC. Shana has taught NVC at the 92nd Street Y, Trinity Church, Insight Meditation Center, NY Open Center, Integral Yoga Institute, Kripalu, Pace College, and the UN Development Program.
