I prepared examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up instrument trays, and moving equipment into place. I assisted the three practice dentists, each with distinct characteristics and work protocols, and trained new staff on current processes and procedures.I gained experience working with the Primary Dentist on various procedures, including implants, orthodontics, root canals, and a wide range of general dental work. Additionally, I handled administration tasks such as updating and maintaining client dental records using software applications like EXACT and InteleViewer.My role also involved performing laboratory duties, including manufacturing retainers and mouth guards. I maintained a surgically clean work environment to prevent the spread of infection and disease and assisted with the disinfection and sterilization of reusable medical instruments.
