As a Product Manager, Project Manager, and UX/Product Designer I have worked with many startups over the years, helping them define and launch features and platforms to serve their markets. An example of the types of SASS projects I have worked on was for the interior design platform StyleRow. In an effort to simplify a very complex system of budget management and invoicing interior designers typically navigate using as many as 5 different tools (from Excel to Quickbooks) - we set out to design and develop the foundation for a system that would greatly unify the many steps required to manage the budgets and complex PO flows around an interior design project. After a phase of investigation and research and many information sessions with the founder of StyleRow, a highly accomplished interior designer, I defined, spec'd, and wireframed the Budget Builder tool recently launched on the platform. I worked with the design team to complete high-fidelity designs and once development started I worked closely with the team in Belarus, providing development-ready wireframes and specs including all budget calculations and data rules, grooming sprints, and backlog, writing tech tickets and managing communication through Jira, as well as frequently reviewing the timeline and prioritizing features to make sure we reached our release goals, with ongoing improvements and feedback rounds immediately following the initial launch. I also mapped out key tracking funnels based on the KPIs and documented event tracking requirements for the engineering team to implement with Mixpanel.I'm currently working on a very comprehensive and unique travel mobile app, stay tuned!

As a UX/Product/Design Lead I worked very closely with clients and our product design team, striving to materialize our clients visions for their digital products, from initial concept and outline to completed specs, development ready wireframes and design mockups. As many of these projects were also engineered by our tech team, I ran some of the development projects with both our US and off-shore teams (primarily India and Belarus). Responsibilities included defining scope of projects, creating both creative and technical product requirements, spec'ing and wire-framing features for web and mobile apps, giving design direction and managing both design and development processes. I also worked extensively with Jira, managing sprints and communication with on and off-shore teams. Additionally I managed weekly meetings and reporting to clients and stakeholders. Concept for a digital platform geared to help expecting parents and birth professionals connect, I helped design and create a working prototype for an online platform designed to facilitate education and support resources for a better and healthier birth experience for new parents. Key features of the site included searchable profiles and other interactive communication features. I lead all UX and design for the project, creating wireframes and working closely with the lead PHP engineer.

Primary role included UI design and Front-end development for the Pose.com website with an intensive focus on email marketing design and development, including full spectrum management of email execution process. Includes designing both transactional and editorial/marketing products, creating responsive HTML templates for mobile optimization, full QA testing using Litmus tools among others as well as providing performance summary reports and analysis. Work closely with marketing and product teams. Work extensively with ESP systems – in this case SendGrid. Other functions I have participated in include QA leadership and helping facilitate user testing in-house and user surveys online.

While managing a 5 person team of front-end web developers in a fast paced revolving environment, I also helped test and code new products (primarily using HTML, CSS, Javascript). Worked with interactive team to define and conceptualize interactive Flash projects for client campaigns. With a constant flux of ad-sales and in-house production requests, it was required to provide real-time response and resource allocation on a daily basis. Intense sales driven ad campaigns required custom integrations built under very short timelines. In addition to the main web property Break.com I also supported MadeMan.com, CagePotato.com, HolyTaco.com, WallStreetFighter.com, ScreenJunkies.com and Chickipedia.com – other Break Media owned sites. I maneuvered a variety of platforms from XSL templates to .Net to PHP (Drupal) – and also worked with several third party vendors and content partners such as Eyewonder, Singlepoint, Crackle and Hulu. Working closely with Ad Operations I also integrated crucial reporting and tracking tags such as DoubleClick and GAM (Google Ad Manager). I facilitated execution through to live product deployment with many departments including .Net team, PHP team, Design, Marketing, Ad Sales, Ad Operations, Product and Editorial.
