Shanan Ilen is a cybersecurity post graduate with a strong 1st and 2nd line end-user tech supporting including but not limited to network, security and infrastructure engineering experiences. He has an MSc Cybersecurity degree from Coventry University, where he learned about cyber/computer forensics and network security, and published an article on digital forensic techniques. He has also gained hands-on experience in implementing and assessing security controls, conducting security awareness sessions, and achieving the Cyber Essentials certificate for Silicon Technix Ltd, where he completed a three-month internship as an Information Security Officer and continued as an IT officer. Previously, he worked as an Associate Engineer at MillenniumIT ESP, providing customer support, preventive maintenance, server deployment, and host security hardening for large enterprise-level customers. He has multiple certifications in computer networks, Cisco, and Red Hat, and skills in VMware, RecoverPoint, vRealize, Site Recovery Manager, and vSAN.Shanan is passionate about infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity and is eager to apply his knowledge and skills in a challenging and dynamic environment. He is an ambitious, enthusiastic, and proactive person with a positive mindset and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
