My responsibilities when I was the official assistant manager of Cancer Research store meant that I was put in charge of a small group of volunteers. Within this I had to utilise pricing structures as well as achieving daily and weekly targets. I also had to motivate a group of volunteers to achieve their best. Within this role I worked two days a week, and was required to cover the managers holiday. On these days where I was working I was required to act as the manager as the store, and run the store to a high standard.Although I am no longer employed with CRUK, I still often volunteer with the same role.
