CAVAL was a doorstep cycle repair platform with the aim of bringing all facilities of a fully furnished garage/repair center to the very doorsteps of the vehicle owners. CAVAL sought to provide marketing services in the relatively unorganized vehicle repair and servicing industry. Over the year I worked in CAVAL, I was responsible for any substantial task related to Online marketing and all major domains under it( i.e. Content Strategy, SEO etc.), Operations, Market Research and Public relations. CAVAL started providing doorstep cycle repair services to all students as well as the faculty of IIT madras and still provides till date, though all plans for future expansion were squashed with the failure of the venture YUJ in chennai markets due to lack of funds and delay in funding.
