Led Food For Thought, a government pilot COVID-19 response initiative ensuring students dependent on school meal programs received nutritious meals during the 2020 shutdown. Collaborated with Aspiring Communities and the NS Department of Finance, from Cape Breton to Annapolis Valley to ensure seamless team leadership, restaurant onboarding, liaison with school districts, meal logistics, financial management, and government reporting.- Directed a 15-person team to spearhead a collaborative COVID-19 response project across the Maritimes, involving non-profit organization Aspiring Communities, the Nova Scotia Department of Finance, and provincial volunteers.- Lead daily/weekly team calls, onboarding restaurants, working with school districts, logistics of meals, financials, and reporting to the government with statistics/weekly updates.
