Video Journalist
CurrentPre-Production: - Ideate, Pitch & Iterate: Weekly pitch and product & content iteration- Production Shoot: Provide on-set production assistance (sparingly, if needed)Production:- Shoot Schedule: Planning call sheet, shot list, equipment list, Scripting- Shoot: Director/ DP? Another DP needed? Camera assistant needed? Post Production:- Processing: Assist director-producer in handover of all footage- Edit: Depending on video format, edit takes 1-2 weeks, with typically 2-3 rounds of revisions. You will take responsibility for the edit from start to finish- Delivery & Archiving: At the final delivery stage, the video should be fully subbed, coloured and audio levelled. All project files and footage should be promptly archived and backed up upon project completion- Publication: Ensure videos are scheduled and published punctually. - Hygiene: To continually look into ensuring our handover and archival systems are robust, to also ensure ease of re-retrieval in the future.
