Leader and USAF Squadron Commander with extensive operations management experience. I specialize in helping organizations grow and succeed in complex, fast-paced environments. My passion is in the unmanned aircraft system sector (UAS/UAV/RPA, etc.) where I led Department of Defense organizations over a 20 yr career. USAF Weapons School grad, combat pilot, and Commander/Director of Operations for USAF Operational Test & Evaluation (MQ-9 UAS flight test).I achieve results by intentionally building processes, adapting to change, and successfully integrating cross-functional teams focused on excellence. I have delivered over 60 new MQ-9 (UAS – aircraft) capabilities to USAF warfighters and have successfully led six major JADC2 experiments at the USAF’s ABMS Battle Lab, which refined Command and Control (C2) requirements for Headquarters Air Force level programs.MY SPECIALTIES:• PLANNING: Detailed research into emerging capabilities, creating test plans, ensuring measures of performance and measures of effectiveness answer requirements. Extensive experience developing Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) & managing requirements at Combatant Command and Joint operations levels (JIATFS // USSOUTHCOM).• PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Led large (100+ member) organization through all facets of Live/Virtual/Constructive C2 experiments with General Officer visibility, influencing tens of million $ programs. Responsible for execution of 60+ MQ-9 UAS tests, as well as detailed analysis of capabilities.• OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: Led a flying Test & Evaluation squadron with diverse capabilities and personnel specialties. Managed an 1,100 hr annual flying hour program for MQ-9 UAS test. Responsible for crew training, proficiency, airspace and maintenance scheduling, aircrew safety and risk management.• INTEGRATOR: Trained USAF Weapons School graduate and WIC instructor. Led large combat squadrons as primary tactician and senior flight instructor. Versed on integration of USAF aircraft capabilities with other Joint, Interagency, and Partner Nation capabilities.
