- Led large deal teams in structuring Infrastructure transactions both for governments and infrastructure funds. Assets included energy, water, transportation and real estate.- Utilised capital instruments such as bonds (taxable and tax free), bank debt, government subsidized programs such as tax equity, TIFIA, WIFIA, Rrif, EB5 and TIF.- Working with rating agencies and creating credit enhanced mechanisms to ensure deal success and lowest cost of funds.

- Detailed responses to tenders in a highly competitive and complex PPP process.- Focused on optimising capital structures and getting lowest cost of funds, including pre GFC double wrapped bonds and accreting debt.- Worked on a team that successfully created an in-house ABN AMRO infrastructure equity fund. This fund was later sold to AMP Capital at $1billion.- The internal point man during the GFC for correspondence with Rating agencies.- Managed the process and provided important industry feedback to minimise the ratings shock on both underwritten and client managed products during the GFC.- Structuring, executing and distributing large scale principal infrastructure transactions. This included developing and restructuring capital structures using collateralized asset backed bank loans, bond financings, subordinated debt, CPI linked instruments, monoline insured and wrapped, structured equity, swap derivative instruments and hybrids, preference shares and securitizations.
