Once the best title record system had been established within Australia, Land Victoria constantly improved (240 employees)Projects I worked on: -Electronic Conveyancing System (EC)-Streamlined Planning through Electronic Applications and Referrals (SPEAR)-Victorian Online Titles System (VOTS)-Document Imaging SystemPrincipal responsibilities were:•Update product / fee formula’s yearly, in VOTS, to agree with CPI increases•Investigate problems, identify or provide solutions to software developers•Write test plans and scripts for patches and change requests•Perform regression, integration and stress testing•Test patches and change requests.•Investigate production faults and determine how they were caused and feed information to software vendor. •Create SQL statements to interrogate different database tables to identify data for test scripts.• Automated some test scripts (Winrunner)• Shane was the ‘pinch hitter’. If a fault couldn’t be reproduced, Shane was the one that would discover how to reproduce it.
