My responsibilities as a Senior aca is to maintain the day to day running of the base of approximately 50 staff and 25 vehicles. This included the upkeep of health and safety within the base, legionella testing, fire alarm and equipment testing, any issue staff may have I would have to deal with, planning of vehicles and booking in any mots/pmi's etc.Dealing with complaints and also liasing with the complainant to rectify these issues.

I was seconded from my position of a senior ambulance care assistant into the position of a depot manager to help assist the base and current depot manager.

I was seconded into the position of a Depot manager for 3 months. I was in charge of approximately 60 staff 2 patient transport liason officers and 2 controllers. this also included a fleet of roughly 25 vehicles.

My main responsibility was to transfer patients to and from hospital/home in a safe and ordilay fashion. Use of manual handling was needed to transfer some patients.

Customer assistant working nights. Replenishing shelves. Dealing with issues and members of the public may have.

My job entailed the designing and making of dentures, crowns, gumsheilds etc
