Serves as the senior advisor to the mayor and oversees city operations, including coordinating policy and legislation, external affairs and communications, and leading many of the Mayor’s key initiatives. Directs a senior staff supporting over 400 employees and oversees the city budget management, union negotiations, and special projects as assigned by the Mayor.

Agency executive responsible for policy and program development. Responsibilities include the management of a regional planning commission housing a metropolitan planning organization. Also responsible for the administration of ongoing planning programs, including short and long-range transportation programming, including transit and traffic; undertaking population and land use analyses; and the administration of local zoning ordinances, floodplain regulations, and subdivision regulations. Direction and supervision of professional, technical, and clerical staff members.

Serves as the professional administrator of the City of Delphos, responsible for coordinating all day-to-day activities for the city. Responsibilities include inter-governmental relations, labor relations, personnel, preparation and administration of the city budget, and liaison between departments, community, council, and mayor.
