An executive leader and Board Director I bring expertise in leadership, relationship management and governance coupled with experience in both global and local roles. With my strategic and innovative approach I have been able to develop and build relationships that are crucial for community regeneration, transform underperforming organisations into sustainable entities, identify long-term growth strategies, and lead complex change programmes to support New Zealand through major crises. Currently a Senior Relationship Manager with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, I have an instrumental role in building relationships and creating networks to support the regeneration projects across Christchurch. I am focused on collaborating with our many stakeholders, both local and international, gaining buy-in to the initiatives that will support the long-term goals of greater Christchurch. In my earlier career I was the CEO of Rugby League, expanding and growing the business development strategy, and securing new partnerships within commercial industry. Prior to this I was the Programme Manager overseeing the wind down of CERA, a University Lecturer specialising in International Sport Policy in the UK and I have held multiple senior management positions within the Earthquake Commission and New Zealand Police. I have led strategic and operational initiatives, coached teams of over 30, developed cross agency partnerships, improved business governance and embedded cultures of high engagement and productivity.I am currently a Director of Hockey New Zealand and a Trustee of Oxford Health Charitable Trust. I bring an enquiring mind-set, helping develop and shape the vision for these organisations and aligning this with strategic, long-term goals. I believe collaboration is essential in terms of achieving success as a Board, and I have extensive experience building relationships and engaging with key stakeholders, communities and groups.
