I worked on the pensions side of the Actuarial Operations Support Team. My duties were to calculate customers pensions that the main system could not calculate due to the complexity of the pension. I worked with pensions that were of the type Conventional With Profit, Unit-linked or pensions that had a mixture of both. I was also involved in the migration team that was responsible for putting policies online that could not be worked out by the online mainframe system.

My main duties were to retrieve information on clients who had taken out pensions before they had an adequate computer system to put the information on. My other main duty was to update the pension renewals. I did these tasks through Microsoft Access and Benedict.
