I started on the floor of a production floor filing oil pans in a foundry. I did this for 4 years and decided I could do better. I went to school full time and work 3rd shift for 3 years to get my associates degree in applied technology and a maintenance certificate. This is when my maintenance career started. I worked with the maintenance team in the same facility I started on the production floor. I then took a job as the maintenance supervisor and went back to school to get my bachelors degree in Business Management while working full time on 3rd shift. After earning my bachelors degree I started my job as a engineering tech. After 2 years of being an engineering tech I was offered a Manufacturing Engineering position. As an individual that started at the bottom and working on the production floor I understand the hard work and dedication it takes to advance. I prided myself in being a great troubleshooter while I was working in maintenance and as an engineering tech. As I transitioned in the Engineering role I was able to take my experience from the shop floor to look at each and every project from many different angles.
