Key Responsibilities/Duties: Supervise the Utilities Dept. I am responsible for operation, distribution, maintenance and management of steam, electrical, water, natural gas, HVAC, ammonia refrigeration and compressed air systems to satisfy production and operating requirements in a safe and efficient manner. I have been assisting Roger Schreiner in his daily duties and have knowledge of the responsibilities for this position. I cover the superintendent when he was on plant visits or on vacation. I also lead the Energy Team and work very hard to help our plant run in an efficient and safe manner. I am currently IC for the Haz-Mat Team. Manage Capital projects that are less than $100k and assist the capital project manager in projects that are over $100k. •Supervise plant mechanical, electrical and contract technicians including predictive,preventative and reactive maintenance. •Assist in plant repairs and maintenance-Troubleshooting/problem solving plant equipment problems. •General purchasing of all maintenance related items. •Conduct employee development including technical training, EHS training, and PMP process training. Key Responsibilities: Perform emergency repairs as required; document operational, troubleshooting and maintenance procedures; assume responsibility for downtime in assigned area; perform root cause analysis; perform pump, valves, gearbox reducers and cylinder rebuilds; work with supervisors/production stakeholders to promote quality and yield improvements and communicate to stakeholders regarding projects and progress. Communicate with vendors and technical consultants to resolve complex issues; follow all safety procedures and policies; and seek out and correct any unsafe conditions.
