After realising that my childhood dream to become a lawyer (I have no idea why, honestly) was probably not the right career move, I landed a job at Optus as a CSM at the ripe old age of 17.My hobby of playing with computers soon became a career interest, and after 3 years I resigned from Optus and pursued an IT career on a whim. An opportunity arose at Bank SA as an IT Helpdesk Representative, and the rest is history.I initially decided to work contracts to expose myself to various systems and applications. I have completed various contract roles with the SA Government and private companies in both IT Helpdesk and Desktop Support roles, with some Web Content Management thrown in for good measure.My current System Administration role has been a substantially interesting and enjoyable experience. My responsibilities include the following;- Windows Domain Management- Windows Server Administration- LAN / WAN Configuration- Bare Metal and Virtual Server Administration- Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Administration- SOE / Operating System Deployment (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)- WHM/cPanel and Web Hosting Administration- Data Backups- Mobile Device Management- Hardware and Asset Management- WSUS Administration- Level 1, 2 and 3 SupportI am a motivated and pro-active individual who strives to implement the most logical, relevant and practical systems and methods possible for my team and my employer. I like to get things right the first time and my aim is to deliver the best possible outcome to enhance business productivity by way of technology.I believe in team and business collaboration, knowledge-sharing and great customer service.
