Capgemini, WokingShane is currently the Programme PMO Manager for a £60+ million pound major build, test and run programme operating against two discrete contracts covering a seven-year period: a Technology Services (TS) Build and Test contract and an Operate Services (OS) Support and Hosting contract. Shane manages the central PMO function with responsibility for: internal and external reporting, repository management, deliverables management, risk, issue and change management, commercial and contract management, financial management including invoicing and forecasting. He manages a team of two PMO supporting nearly 100 staff members, including third party vendors. He has been a member of the programme management team since June 2007. Shane has responsibility for all contract re-baselines, governance and Change Management across the programme. Change Management is a vital function on this engagement given that the contract value has risen from £8.25million to over £21 million in the last two years. Shane represents Capgemini at the client's fortnightly Change Control Board and has provided Project Management support to the Programme Director since January 2009.Shane is a member of the four-man Capgemini PMO Business Unit Management team overseeing capacity management and reporting for the 47 man team. He has been the PMO team's Knowledge Manager since February 2006.

Capgemini, WokingShane managed four staff members in the Programme Management Centre (PMC) supporting around 60 projects across the education sector from February 2006 to June 2007. The team were responsible for financial forecasting, invoicing, credit control, Requests for Work and Work Order management, sales bookings, all related monthly MIS and ad hoc requests in support of the Vice-President of the Department for Education and Skills Major UK account.From June 2004 to February 2006 Shane was the PMO Manager supporting 45 staff on a six-project programme of work designed to deliver EU payments to farmers in Wales from the Welsh Government's Rural Payments Division. He was responsible for all financial reporting and invoicing. He created and maintained the programme plan using NIKU workbench, wrote the Programme Governance Plan (PGP) and the risk, issue, change and traceability procedures. Shane was responsible for compliance to standards and debt collection across the Siemens account. He reported financials status to the monthly Management Reviews held with the Delivery Director and Account Vice-President. Shane facilitated programme delivery against hot spots directly assisting the Project and Engagement Manager.

Shane was the System Test Manager for the CitiFT Frankfurt, London Flexcube and Paris Flexcube branch SIT phases at CitiBank from August 2003 until June 2004. This included partner management, middleware and environment definition and support, test execution oversight and management of a team of five testers and script authors. The role reported directly to the European Project Manager and involved the development of European wide test strategies.From February 2002 until July 2003 Shane was the CitiBank Partner Systems Interface Co-ordinator for a major Funds Transfer cash-business systems integration project. Shane co-ordinated the development and test activities of nine separate Technology Groups ensuring that they were synchronised with those of the central project team. Shane reported directly to the European Implementation Manager where he was responsible for project plan development and maintenance, client management, risk and issue documentation and escalation, test approach development and test planning. He authored a project risk and issue procedure and developed templates for capturing and reporting the data. Shane had responsibility for: co-ordinating middleware set-up between environments to link the 22 interfaces to the central system; test schedule preparation; co-ordination of test case authors' activities; incident management, fault reporting and middleware implementation and Production Verification Testing.
