• Develop and maintain staff rostering, ensuring effective management of staff leave, to ensure 100% contract service delivery and to report to the Head of Section on matters as required. • Regular conduct of inspections of sites, satellite locations, stations and other designated areas to ensure Company and/or client standards are kept and policies and procedures are adhered to. • Recruitment, training, motivate, encourage and manage a team of EMTs, including fostering and supporting an environment of learning and mentoring to further develop employees.• Provide leadership and direction to employees and ensure their maintenance of key clinical competencies and skills. • To work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a BLS level emergency medical service to clients.• Ensure subordinates adherence to and compliance with all Company and client policies and procedures and, where necessary, take corrective action outlined in NA Disciplinary policy.• Review and audit patient care documentation for quality assurance process and mark against established KPI’s, and develop strategies to improve staff performance, patient outcomes and service delivery• Complete, maintain and take action on all documentation submitted and required under NA QHSE manual and systems.• Maintain awareness of all regulations and new policies introduced by governing bodies within the UAE to ensure continuity of operations.• Rectify any potential gaps identified during implementation and quality assurance audits.• Prepare plans and manage deliveries of tasks in coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects timely delivery within set budget.

Camden Ambulance Station. Nw3

Responsible for the day to day running of a busy ambulance station which includes auditing staff paperwork to ensure high quality is maintained, dealing with staff personal issues in regard to sickness and absences and ensuring staff rosters provide maximum productivity from each staff member. Also responsible for training staff on new equipment and procedures and conducting regular Operational Workplace Reviews and providing constructive feedback as to areas where staff are performing well or can improve. Expected to maintain own high level of clinical skills and work as an operational paramedic on Rapid Response Units, Ambulances and operate the Clinical Support Desk/Clinical Hub at the service headquarters in Waterloo.• Auditing of all PRFs to ensure staff maintain a high standard of clinical care• Conduct bi-annual Operational Workplace Reviews on each staff member and provide constructive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses, and how they can improve• Clinical Support Desk/Clinical Hub• Act as a first line manager in the day to day running of the ambulance station• Arriving first at the scene of an emergency and assessing the patients’ condition• Organising and arranging for casualties prompt transport to hospital• Assuming immediate control of accident and emergency situations• Giving appropriate medical advice and training to healthcare colleagues • Co-operating with other emergency services – police, Fire Brigade as required• Completing Patient Report Forms and other documentation as required• Administering prescription, non prescription and controlled drugs• Undertaking emergency driving duties of various emergency vehicles• Updating hospital staff and healthcare professionals about a patient’s condition• Checking and maintaining all medical equipment • Maintaining the station stores and ordering of equipment and supplies as required • Operate as part of a very large team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the trust
