I spent the past year working at Edia Learning, a venture capital backed start-up in the EdTech sector with the mission of improving math skills through the creation of a digital practice and assessment platform for middle and high school math students. I primarily designed and coded through Node.js complex math problems (Algebra, Linear Algebra, Statistics and Pre-Calculus) to be used in classrooms across the country. In addition, I created sophisticated math problem generators that provided random and unique variations with tailored explanations using Java ScriptPreviously I worked as a Python/Full Stack Developer for Organic, a venture capital backed start-up seeking to build the next generation SaaS technology solution platform for the publishing industry and content creators. I was focused on developing the underlying analytic capabilities of their publishing platform, using Python. Prior to joining Organic, I was employed as an Intern for two companies. Initially, I spent six months as an intern working in programming and database management. The most recent internship was with MicroAutomation, where I was part of a team developing a web-based application for 911 call center staff using React. In this position, I excelled at not only my tasks but also collaborating while working remotely.I graduated Cum laude in 2018 from the College of William and Mary with a double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.I am currently seeking a challenging software development position in a team environment that utilizes both my strong computer science and math background along with my passion for technology
