Throughout my life, I have been a hands-on individual. In college, the field that drew me in was Industrial Technology with a concentration in Manufacturing Management. When I finished college, I had many opportunities but I was drawn to the Wausau Community and all of the outdoor opportunities in the area. When I chose Greenheck to begin my career, my motivations started with the ability to do the hands-on work I love in an outdoor-focused community. However, I realized that I had the opportunity to forge a career with a company with the vision to grow, provide opportunities for me to expand within the company.My philosophy of work is to build expertise in a wide range of disciplines. I started my career as a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist but I held multiple titles throughout my tenure with Greenheck. My expertise spans:• Procurement• Plant Management• Value Stream Leadership• Manufacturing Engineering• Product Marketing• Operations Management• Production SupervisionTRAINING & DEVELOPMENT – Played key role in the development of an internal training program for a specialized welding training program to support the high need for welders within the Greenheck organization. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT – Collaborated internally with employees to get feedback and recommendations on how to improve operations. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT – Aligned manufacturing operations to strategy by simplifying and consolidating footprint. For example: as Plant Manager, collaborated with team members in the analysis of plant capacity to determine capital expenditures for replacement and new equipment with a focus on automation while being mindful of cost of innovation versus overall plant workflow.
