Responsibilities/Job Scopes:-Generate sales revenue:Responsible for the delivery of media sales results for the businessManagement: Mentor the junior media sales personnel Relationships: Develops relationships with key media agencies and new/existing clientsEnsures that the business is considered for important campaigns and exposed to new consumers alikeMaintains a strong sales pipeline through the building of effective relationships, lead generation, and call managementEstablishes relationships with consumers and prospective consumers through business events, seminars and workshops as well as establishing direct contact with prospects in an attempt to promote the business Collaboration: Working closely with the product, marketing, research, CRM, analytics, and finance in aligning sales promotion initiatives Knowledge and Opportunity: Tasked with maintaining a detailed and current knowledge of the business’s consumer and competitive activityKnowing consumers, competitors, market, and products in order to be able to develop sales solutions and selling points to the consumersKeeps the media sales department up to date with the latest trends and advertising best practicesTake the initiative to make outgoing sales calls to lapsed and potential business clients to in order to maximize on sales revenueExperienced Gained:-Social networking & relationship buildingApproaching and approachable, learn to negotiate, deal with client’s media objectivesPlan sales & promotion strategy cater to market trend and demandCultivate teamworkMutual respect and understanding among team members
