During my career at ESC Automation, my position has changed overthe course of time. Reported to the Production Foreman and supervised production for a crew of nine in a CNC machine shop. The process of manufacturing grader blades required precision tooling, improvisation for new product setup, and timely and efficient production within the boundaries of proper workplace health and safety requirements.Directed production requirements:-printed work orders and ensured product flow as scheduled;-programmed CNC machines to cut steel as specified on work orders;-operated CNC machines from setup to measured quality products;-instructed employees in safe machine operations.Designed extensions on a CNC table making it capable of handling the large parts. Now, 200% less setup time required, production of that part increased by 100%, and quality had no chance of being compromised. Lead the most productive crew in the area by delegating tasks with creative goals that motivated employees to put in the extra effort. Created the concept for two post gantry cranes for raw material handling. The cranes eliminated the risk of injury and decreased setup time by 50%.Recommended the re-installation of hydraulic clamps that allowed injured workers to return to work, production increased by 30%, and morale increased by 300%.
